Note: The carrier’s liability is normally to a fixed value, which is usually considerably less than the value of your cargo.

- A cover letter stating that you are submitting a formal claim
- A copy of the Air Waybill or Bill of Lading
- A copy of the insurance certificate
- The invoice for the entire shipment indicating the items involved in the claim
- A detailed breakdown of the claimed amount
- Warehouse delivery receipt
- Contact details
- Photographs if available
- Surveyor’s report (if required)
- Any other relevant documents
