Sales Executive

Cargo Consolidators Agency Limited is looking to expand its sales team.

THE JOB Duties include:

• Assist in developing Cargo Consolidators share of the market by building & maintaining a broad sales platform for corporate & private customers
• Establish new & maintain current client relationships
• Meet sales goals & objectives assigned including targets for new customer acquisition & the number of shipments
• Travel to regional destinations when required to make sales visits & promotions to customers
• Actively schedule & execute sales visits with existing & new customers
• Proactively develop a database of qualified leads through face to face meetings, teleconferences, phone canvassing, email, networking, etc
• Provide a prompt, efficient & courteous sales service to all customers by advising on rates, routes, schedules & other related information
• Provide excellent support service to customers in a courteous, prompt & efficient manner to enable business development & customer retention

THE CANDIDATE

• Minimum of 4 years experience in a sales oriented position
• Diploma or degree in marketing, business, or related field highly desirable
• Experience in the cargo industry will be an asset
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Proven/Demonstrated Selling Skills
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Strong problem solving & analytical skills
• Knowledge of ocean/air freight operations & procedure an asset
• Strong geographic knowledge

This is a permanent, full time position.
